| Network Architect Toronto/GTA, ON Date Posted: January 25, 2012 Job ID: 21004 Job Description Eagle is currently seeking one (1) Network Architect. This contract opportunity is slated to begin February, and is projected to be twelve (12) months in length. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for: Evaluating and implementing networking hardware as it relates to networking project requirements; Troubleshooting and diagnosing network errors or failures escalated within the network team; maintaining and configuring Cisco and Juniper networking hardware, configuring multi-layer switches in LAN environment; and performing upgrades to network equipment as necessary; Monitoring system and network elements using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting procedures; performing diagnostics of network hardware and software components; Maintaining documentation of routine maintenance, systems configuration, applications, and technical reference material, and performing general systems administration and security functions.
