| Responsibilities include:
* Firewall administration (Juniper Netscreen Firewalls)
* Router / switch administration (Cisco and Extreme Networks)
* Assist in BGP and OSPF Routing adjustments
* Circuit Troubleshooting and provisioning new circuits with carriers
* Designing and implementing network solutions for customers
* Network Equipment troubleshooting
Required Background:
* 3+ years experience with Cisco routers and switches
* 3+ years of experience in the design, implementation, support, and management of complex LAN/WAN environments. Must have experience in high volume, 24x7 production environments
* 3+ years experience with Firewalls. PIX / Juniper (Netscreen)
* Solid understanding of TCP/IP: IP addressing, subnetting, NAT, QoS, IPSec, SSL, FTP, SMTP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, DHCP, ICMP, etc
* Intermediate level experience with high availability solutions: HSRP, VRRP, active/active, active/standby, redundant paths; load balancing techniques, algorithms, and available solutions
* Strong oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to explain highly technical concepts to a non-technical audience

* CCNA, CCNP, CCSP, or CCVP.... |
