| Metalforming Maintenance Technician - Automotive Job Apply now » Date: Jan 12, 2012 Location: Tottenham, Ontario, Canada Manpower is partnered with a Tier One Automotive supplier in their recruit for a METAL-FORMING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN. In this position you'll maintain all components within an automated cell. This includes troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventative maintenance on the equipment. Besides maintaining the equipment, a major component of this role is to prevent failures by suggesting and implementing improvement plans. Position Responsibilities: Perform highly diversified duties to repair and maintain automated production equipment. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, detect and replace defective parts, test and make adjustments to automated production equipment. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and equipment. Use a variety of hand and power tools. Use of programmable logic control systems (PLC's) to program and troubleshoot automated equipment. Use of robotic systems to program and troubleshoot. Other duties as assigned to ensure up-time of automated production equipment, etc. Qualifications: Diploma in Electrical, Mechani.... |
