| Merchandiser Location: Sysco Victoria Job Code: 346 # of openings: 1 Description Merchandiser Reports to: Director of Merchandising Location: Victoria B.C. Job Description: Reporting directly to the Director of Merchandising, this in idual will be responsible for the procurement of products, pricing, programs, promotions, rebates and inventory management within the category. The successful candidate will be required to work closely with vendors, marketing and the sales team. Skills Required : • This position requires the in idual to be well organized, detail oriented, possess good communication skills, good negotiation skills. • Be able to meet goals and deadlines. • Be able to prioritize and be a creative problem solver. • The in idual will also have strong analytical skills. • Be able to manage multiple projects and competing priorities. Qualifications : • The applicant should have a Bachelor Degree in Commerce or Business Administration. • PMAC certified and/or have a minimum of 3 years procurement experience in food service supply. • Preference will be given to in iduals that are computer literate, have a good working knowledge of merchan.... |
