| Mental Health Social Worker FULL-TIME PERMANENT (UPSE) POSITION Department: Health PEI Location: McGill Centre, Charlottetown OPEN TO THE PUBLIC Commencing Immediately This position provides assessment, case management, consultation and treatment to a wide variety of clients with mental health problems and illnesses, with particular emphasis on specialized seniors mental health care, dual disordered clients, and assistance with community placement. The social worker is expected to provide assessment, ongoing and stabilizing treatment, coordination of resources and consultation to clients, their families, and caregivers. The social worker is expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy and independence and will work as a collaborative member of the Seniors Mental Health Resource Team and Dual Diagnosis Treatment Planner with the Assertive Outreach Team.
