| Competition Number: 6-11-531-CB Title of Position: Medical Sonography Technologist (SN-2) Status: Full-time Department: Medical Imaging Location: Chaleur Regional Hospital- Bathurst Job Summary: To perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with the department’s mission, philosophy, objectives and policies within the Vitalité Health Network. This is technical and clinical work involving the use of high frequency sound waves. Requirements: Certification with the Canadian Association of Registered Diagnostic Ultrasound Professionals (CARUP) Member of the Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. Experience in abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, cardiac, and vascular ultrasound; Current CPR certification; Demonstrated skills in problem solving; Demonstrated initiative, sound judgement, organizational, and communication skills and ability to follow the lines of communication; Willingness to travel within the territory of the Vitalité Health Network if required; Written and spoken competence in English and French is required.
