| Medical Auditor II Job Description Competition Number HCS.11.12.407 Available Positions 1 Temporary Position Employer Department of Health and Community Services - Audit and Claims Integrity Division, Belvedere Building Locations St. John's Closing Date 21 Feb 2012 Salary $51,669.80 - $57,657.60 (GS 35) Duties This position is responsible for planning, organizing and performing in-depth analysis of provider ?s billings; calculating financial recovery estimates based on audit findings; performing cost-benefit analysis of targeted audits as well as anticipated impact on associated/global budgets; and preparing and presenting findings. The incumbent will plan, organize and perform preliminary and comprehensive audits of providers in the Medical/Dental care plans; coordinate the preparation of summaries of audit cases for use as audit evidence in appeal hearings and court actions; prepares and presents comprehensive reports on audit results; and recommends changes to various acts regulations, policies and procedures.
