| Position Mechanical Reliability Engineer Location St. John's, NL Closing Date Tuesday, January 31, 2012 Job Description USI are currently seeking candidates for Mechanical Reliability Engineer for one of their clients located in St. John's. Responsibilities will include: Champion the reliability efforts in assigned areas of responsibility by providing assistance in resolving equipment design, operation and maintenance problems. Analyzes historical, PM data and makes recommendations for reliability improvement and failure avoidance. Coordinates RCFA processes and tracks the implementation of recommendations through to resolution. Utilizes reliability tools such as failure calculations, failure evaluations, and cost and risk analysis to evaluate and prioritize reliability issues. Manages critical spares, including execution of strategy, monitoring inventory growth, verifying requirements for min/max changes, and ensuring SPA equipment bill of materials are correct. Successful candidates should possess the following capabilities/experience: University degree in Engineering and be a Professional Engineer registered (or eligible for registration) with the Professional Engineers & Ge.... |
