| Title Mechanical/Mining Engineering Student (80800) Position Overview Reporting to the Maintenance Planner, this role will be responsible for providing engineering and administrative support to the Equipment and Maintenance Team for Aecon Mining. This is a 4 month summer opportunity for a Mechanical/ Mining Engineering Student that will start in May 2012 in our Infrastructure division, working with Aecon Mining in Fort McMurray, Alberta, Key Responsibilities Adhere to Aecon ?s Policy & Procedures Manual Provide assistance to PM Planner and Scheduler, researching equipment requirements and Preventive/Predictive maintenance procedures for large mining equipment fleet including Caterpillar & Hitachi equipment, Documenting as needed. Participate in weekly planning meetings including preparation of data and auditing information in the field, such as time, manpower, parts & equipment requirements, Maintain cost history records on equipment, researching anomalies and providing feedback on trends & assisting in updating disposal guidelines for equipment. Aid in the preparation/adjustment of equipment rates Perform and Provide feedback on testing of various equipment products; Lubricants, c.... |
