Role Mission/Purpose Increase JMP's internal mechanical capabilities Provide value added mechanical design work & expertise for in-house projects Promote the use of SolidWorks and other mechanical design best practices throughout JMP Responsibilities Mechanical Design Design systems that have been selected to be completed in-house Completing detailed design packages for release to vendors Design concepts and reference libraries to increase quote accuracy Internal Processes Working to further develop SolidWorks standards and best practices Providing advice and consultation to other JMP employees on projects Ideal Candidate Strong SolidWorks experience Capability of designing based on sketches and verbal concepts Understanding of the use of pneumatics and hydraulics .... |
