| Job Title Materials Planner Groups Process and Compression Systems Business Group Custom Process Systems (CPS) Department Manufacturing City CALGARY State/Province ALBERTA Payroll Status Regular Job Description ? Support all functions in ensuring timely material availability. Identify risk areas related to material shortages and instigating recovery activities. ? Develop a realistic materials plan to control all activities for the on time delivery of components and subcomponents. Develop a critical path analysis for individual projects. Accomplish material meetings and set priorities for Procurement ? Controlling and maintaining lot sizes, round up values, safety stock and further relevant material master data (min/max planning) ? Works on long-lead item procurement as well ? Create Requisitions considering project requirements and just in time (JIT) concepts ? Rescheduling Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders and Work Orders based on the ERP messages. ? Advise the Inventory manager in controlling the inventory level especially slow moving inventory (SMI) with no reservation or obsolete inventory ? Create and support rework orders and Add-on orders if required. ? Gains and shares.... |
