| Location: Whitehorse, YT Hours: Full Time Salary: Salary - $74,084.13 - $88,900.52 plus benefits Duration: Permanent Job Description/Duties: The Kwanlin Dun Cultural Centre is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual with a desire to provide excellent customer service and hospitality to fill the position of Marketing and Events Manager. The Marketing and Events Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing and promotional strategies and plans for the cultural centre and for the planning, design, production, promotion, overall co-ordination and profitability of events.The ideal candidate has strong analytical, planning and organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills and can work individually and in a team setting. You will also have the ability to multitask and handle multiple deadlines simultaneously.This position requires evening and week-end work. The Cultural Centre features a large Longhouse capable of hosting over 600 delegates with theatre style seating and sit down dinner events for over 350 people along with a separate exhibition hall and several additional breakout rooms to accommodate event planners.
