Position: Manager Department(s): Health Information Management Services Type: Permanent Full Time Location: Regina Application Deadline: February 10, 2012 Job Description Reporting to the Director of Health Information Management Services, the Manager will provide leadership in the development and implementation of regional health records and related service-specific initiatives with the support of the Health Information Management Team. The Manager is responsible for taking a collaborative role in the ongoing development and implementation of the electronic health record which must facilitate the collection, processing, retrieval and dissemination of accurate health information in a timely manner. The Manager is also accountable for adopting a systems perspective that encompasses fiscal responsibility, a respect for privacy, and accurate healthcare data collection at a local, regional and national level. Qualifications ? A baccalaureate degree in health information or equivalent experience in Health Information Management. ? A graduate of the Canadian College of Health Information Management (CCHIM) recognized diploma program. ? A certified member of the Canadian Health Informatio....
