The Manager of Library Services is responsible for the management and on-going development
of Library & Information Services for Nunavut Arctic College consistent with the requirements
for a library serving a post-secondary educational institution. The mission, goals and objectives of
the College and its educational programs are supported and promoted by directing, developing,
managing, supervising and implementing services to students, staff and the general public
throughout Nunavut. The incumbent is responsible for the provision of library services and
library instruction to all students and staff in the three regional campuses: Nunatta, Kivalliq, and
Kitikmeot, as well as the 24 Adult Community Learning Centers across Nunavut and the Nunavut
Research Institute.
The incumbent must hold a Master of Library and Information Science degree from an ALA-
accredited graduate school with a minimum of 2 years experience in a library and experience with
