| Job Title: Manager of Events, Sports Program, Faculty of Kinesiology Job ID: 1886 Location: Main Campus Full/Part Time: Full-Time Regular/Temporary: Regular Return to Previous Page Position Overview The Sports Program in the Faculty of Kinesiology is currently seeking a Full-time Regular Manager of Events . This postion reports to the Director of Athletics, and will organize all pre-season, regular season, playoff and special Dinos Athletic Events. Position Description Summary of Key Responsibilities (job functions include but are not limited to): Coordination, training and supervision of up to 100 part time staff, volunteers and minor officials, ensuring that events comply with University of Calgary, Canada West and CIS operating policies and playing regulations Responsible for event operations, ticketing and concessions Management of cash flows, payroll, deposits and budget are essential Provision of a safe environment, staff training in the proper use of equipment and a high level of customer service to patrons Assist the Director of Athletics in the development and implementation of athletic policies and procedures as they relate to the areas of event management Qualifications .... |
