| Position Manager, Mortgage Development Posting # #20/12 Location Optimum Mortgage, Lower Mainland and Interior of BC Province BC City Lower Mainland and Interior of BC Classification: Unclassified Salary Position Focus Develop a strategy and implement a marketing plan to increase referral sources/mortgage brokers within the Lower Mainland and Interior of BC. Education Post-Secondary education or additional equivalent experience required. Experience/ Aptitude Banking experience a definite asset. Knowledge of local Broker Market an asset. Previous management experience required. A complete understanding of all aspects of Consumer/Residential and equity lending. Above average interpersonal and organizational skills. Proven experience in marketing and sales. Responsibilities Business Development Develop a strategy and implement a marketing plan to increase referral sources/mortgage brokers within the Lower Mainland and Interior of BC. Manage the referral sources/mortgages brokers to ensure applications fall within the targeted risk area. Ensure fundings are at a level required to meet if not exceed the unit's business plan.
