| Manager, Learning Centres Centre for Academic Excellence -Newnham Campus, Markham Campus, Seneca@York Campus, King Campus Posting Date: Dec 16, 2011 Closing Date: Open Until Filled Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Academic-Educational Excellence, the incumbent is accountable for providing leadership and effective management for Seneca’s Learning Centres, located on Seneca’s four major campuses. The Manager is responsible for long term strategic planning, and operational planning, establishing and meeting departmental objectives and overseeing ongoing process and productivity improvement in order to provide high quality group and individual tutoring, study skills workshops and special seminars to advance student success. Working closely with the Faculties, Libraries and the Counselling department, the Manager is responsible for developing the strategy for provision of tutoring services in response to specific campus requirements, including staffing, training of tutors, acquisition of supporting resources, including defining key technologies to support the Learning Centres strategic and operational plan.
