| Position: Manager, Community Mission Team Reports to: Director, Government Relations & Health Partnerships Department: Research, Advocacy and Health Promotion Location: Toronto, ON Status: Permanent, Full Time Purpose: The primary focus of this role is to lead strategies that support and enable community engagement aimed at reducing cardio vascular disease. The Manager will develop and implement a strategy for community-based health promotion and advocacy activities. The strategy will outline community-based health promotion and advocacy goals which reflect the needs of the Foundation’s priorities such as Government Relations, Health Partnerships, Heart Healthy Children and Youth, and Resuscitation. In order to achieve the established goals, this Manager is one of three who lead a team of Community Mission Specialists (CMSs) assigned to communities across Ontario, to deliver and support community-based health promotion and advocacy activities.
