| Date Posted: Jan 9, 2012 Manager – Accident Benefit Unit BDO is seeking an experienced manager to supervise the operations of our Accident Benefits unit, which does primarily Income Replacement Benefit calculations for insurers. The position will be in our downtown Toronto office. The ideal candidate will have proven workflow and people management skills and excellent report writing skills. Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): • Overseeing and managing client files, including staff supervision and file review • Managing team workload requirements and performing staff evaluations • Providing coaching and guidance to accounting staff within the Accident Benefits unit. • Analysis of financial records • Corresponding in writing with claimants and lawyers • Establish and maintain strong client relationships Qualifications will include: • 3-5 years experience in Accident Benefits • 5-7 years experience managing direct reports • Knowledge of the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule • A professional accounting designation • Demonstrated leadership skills • The ability to communicate effectively .... |
