| Maintenance Technician - Water Purification Plant The Corporation of the City of Cornwall requires a Maintenance Technician - Water Purification Plant for the Department of Infrastructure & Municipal Works - Environmental Division. Reporting to the Supervisor, Water Purification Plant, maintenance technicians install, maintain, calibrate, adjust, troubleshoot and repair all equipment at the Water Purification Plant and remote facilities; Conduct and undertake all necessary repairs in accordance with the preventative maintenance program or on an as needed basis; Complete reports relating to the water treatment system equipment as required; Work in conformance with city policies, DWQMS policies and procedures, and in compliance with relevant legislation; Assist other water purification plant staff with special projects and routine operational duties. The successful candidates will possess the following qualifications: Must possess Grade (12) education or equivalent; Must possess valid Ontario Certificate of Qualification- Industrial Millwright; Must demonstrate previous experience, extensive knowledge and aptitude in the areas related to the Industrial Millwright Trade; Class 1 Water.... |
