Job Description Under the direction of the Maintenance Superintendent, the Maintenance Supervisor will supervise the activities his department. More specifically, he or she will: Manage a staff of 5 to 10 unionized employees Assure their training so that they can and actually do follow all the pertinent policies, practices and maintenance standards Apply regulations and policies regarding health and safety Ensure employees demonstrate and practice proper work habits and continue to develop improved work practices towards good operation of equipments ( preventive and corrective maintenance ) Take any necessary actions to assure the correction of any problem or behavioural issue within his or her team Requirements Requirements: High school diploma and good knowledge of Industrial Mechanics, hydraulic and pneumatic .
