| Maintenance Mechanic Location Pickering Regions Pickering, ON Description Aimco Staffing Solutions and The People Bank Scarborough Office is currently recruiting for our client in the pharmaceutical industry who is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic. This position is located in the Durham region and is a temporary assignment. JOB DESCRIPTION: Preventive maintenance of Production, facility equipment and assist with Building Management System Maintenance of buildings, including basic building repairs Supervision of outside contractors and service technicians Maintain Maintenance inventory items Complete Maintenance daily equipment and air flow direction log sheets Provide back-up support to Sr. Mechanics and Utility Person as required QUALIFICATIONS: Community College Diploma or equivalent training. i.e. partial completion of an apprenticeship programme Up to or equal to 1-year experience in industrial processes. Knowledge of shop equipment, preventative maintenance and instrumentation Familiarity with preventative maintenance systems Knowledge and understanding of GMP requirements is preferable.
