| MANAGER OF RESIDENT CARE SALARY RANGE : $84,794 – $105, 994 (Pay Grade 9) NOTE: Applicants will be considered for interviews based on the information provided in their application to the Region of Halton including a current resume and cover letter. THIS IS A PERMANENT FULL-TIME POSITION WORKING EVENINGS (1500-2300), 35 HOURS PER WEEK, AND EVERY THIRD WEEKEND. PREFERRED BACKGROUND: The ideal candidate is a dynamic and adaptable leader, currently registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario . A Bachelors Degree in Nursing is preferred. Recent Long Term Care experience at the nursing management level with a solid knowledge and understanding of applicable legislation, the new Long Term Care Homes Act and RAI MDS 2.0 is required. Highly effective communication, interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills are required along with advanced skill level with MS Office products, including the ability to develop and execute reports.
