| MANAGER OF ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE (Three-Year Contractual Position, Subject to Renewal) Position is located in Goose Bay, Labrador DUTIES Reporting to the Director of the Labrador Institute, the successful applicant will take a leadership role in providing general management direction in support of the programs and activities of the Labrador Institute. Duties include participating in the planning, growth and development of the Institute by working collaboratively with the Director, representatives in the Senior Executive Offices and their various units, as well as the Institute's staff; coordinating administrative, purchasing, accounting, and budgeting activities; providing advice on human resource matters including human resource planning, team building, employee development, collective agreement interpretation, etc.; developing annual budget submissions and maintaining comprehensive records of finances and accounts; monitoring the Institute budget, as well as grant and contract accounts, and providing monthly financial position reports; preparing annual, financial and statistical reports; preparing overall budget requirements for review and approval; reviewing revenues and ex.... |
