Competition #: 00374754 Employee Type: PERMANENT FULL TIME Bargaining Unit: NON-CONTRACT Facility: CORPORATE OFFICE Reports To: CORPORATE DIRECTOR, INFECTION PREVENTION & CONTROL Close Date: OPEN UNTIL FILLED Comments: Travel throughout the Interior Health Authority will be required Position Summary The Manager, Infection Prevention and Control is responsible for providing efficient and effective leadership and direction for the operations, management, utilization, risk management, and quality improvement within the Infection Prevention and Control portfolio. This key leadership role will work with all levels of employees within the organization applying management theory and concepts to leading, staffing, monitoring, evaluating, and data gathering including the development of relevant outcome measures pertinent to the program. This position will be working closely with National, Provincial, and Regional representatives and will ensure compliance with Provincial mandates.
