POSITION POSTING
POSITION TITLE: LINEHAUL DISPATCHER
(PART TIME, VARIED SCHEDULE)
LOCATION: WINNIPEG
JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Linehaul Supervisor, this position is responsible for carrying out all day-
to-day activities associated with the highway dispatch function. Days and hours of work
will vary depending on customer and operational requirements.
JOB DUTIES:
? Complete all outbound linehaul driver trip sheet information.
? Input information into the linehaul dispatch computer system.
? Communicate dispatch assignments to drivers.
? Process completed trip sheets.
? Assist all other linehaul staff with day to day operations as required.
? Other duties as assigned and required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
? Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
? Experience with linehaul activities and dispatch is preferred.
? Knowledge of hours of service and logbooks is considered an asset.
? Background in a computerized operations environment.
? Demonstrated ability to work independently and on multiple tasks in a fast paced
business environment.
