We are looking for a talented full time Lighting Artist (Senior) to join our studio for a permanent position. Job Title: Lighting Artist (Senior) Reports To: Art Director Division/Department: Production Basic Function: Executes lighting composition within game to support art and design direction. Duties and Responsibilities: - Works with rendering programmers to implement artistic vision into game; provides direction to less experienced artists - Works with tools programmers to implement tools that are appropriate to the art direction and that create a pleasing look - Recognizes and troubleshoots lighting issues - Tunes and polishes to achieve final look and feel - Manages competing priorities and assists less experienced artists in prioritizing work - Receives feedback and modifies work based on direction - Helps establish art style and quality levels - Ensures consistency and quality of own work and assists less experienced artists as needed - Understands memory and frame-rate budgets and works within those constraints - .... |
