| Licensed Truck Mechanic Job ID#: 1501 City: Halifax - Click here to learn more about the city State/Province: Nova Scotia Job Description: We are currently looking for an experienced Licensed Truck and Transport Mechanic to help maintain and repair a large fleet of trucks in the Halifax area. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years experience in the truck repair industry working in a fleet or dealership environment on diesel powered trucks and equipment. Primary responsibilities will be to maintain and repair all truck systems, diagnose complex electrical systems and diesel engine systems, assist other technicians when needed and maintain and clean and safe workplace.. This is a fix it right the first time atmosphere, so attention to detail is very important. A valid Truck and Transport Mechanic's License is a mandatory requirement for this position Compensation: $27.00 - $29.00/hour. Full company paid benefits are also offered and a matching company pension. Boot and Tool Allowance is also offered by the company. Shift: Afternoons, 2:00pm - 12:00am, Monday to Thursday and a half shift every Friday, 1:00pm - 6:00pm. Must be flexible to work overtime as required. Apply for this J.... |
