| Library - Information Resources Librarian University of Guelph Location: Ontario Date posted: 2012-02-02 Position Title: Information Resources Librarian (Sciences) Scope and Accountability: This continuing appointment track librarian position will help the Information Resources (IR) Team implement, support, and advance its core goals and priorities in managing the Library's information resources and collections. As part of the IR Team, the Librarian will provide a variety of services to the library and user community with the goal of acquiring, developing, assessing and preserving high quality information resources that support the strategic directions and goals of the Team, Library and University at-large. Responsibilities: The incumbent will have important responsibilities related to one or more of the core functions within the IR Team, including collection development, collection management, and/or working with the Acquisitions work team.
