| Job Title: Lease Operator Work Location: Weatherford State/Province: Oklahoma Country: USA Job Description: A lease operator monitors the day to day production from assigned wells constantly working to optimize production rates while minimizing lease operating expenses. · Must demonstrate safe and ethical behavior at all times. · Has the right and obligation to stop work if an unsafe condition exists or is suspected. · Must demonstrate a strong work ethic at all times. · Must be willing to work in Team oriented environment. · Must be able to safely and effectively wear SCBA equipment and work in an H2S environment · Perform operational check of assigned wells and associate equipment and facilities as necessary. · Supervise routine well work as time and experience allow. · Conduct production tests. Perform minor repairs on surface production and injection equipment. · Witness purchaser’s gauges and tests, ensuring accuracy of run tickets. · Represent the company in delivery of materials and equipment. · Train newly hired and/or less experienced lease operators. · Help maintain compliance, in co.... |
