As a Labourer and a member of the Maintenance Team you will be involved in diverse work assignments at our Alberta Thermal facilities situated at our Sundance plant, approximately 70km west of Edmonton. Your work will involve general labour duties associated with the operation of the plant facilities. This position is a unionized position and is covered by the IBEW (Local 254). Responsibilities : Perform all work in a safe manner Heavy manual labor i.e.: shoveling, carrying, lifting, etc Monitor for vessel entry Fire watch duties Operate fork-lifts, bobcats and various trucks Regularly climb stairways and ladders Occasional lifting of 30-40 lbs Various other assigned duties with minimal supervision Qualifications : Grade 12 or equivalent.
