Labour Relations Officer
Permanent, Full-Time, 1.0 EFT
Union: Out of Scope
Job Summary: The Labour Relations Officer is responsible for the effective management of labour
and employee relations within a complex, multi-union environment. Responsibilities
include but are not exclusive to; interpretation and administration of collective
agreements and participation in collective bargaining. The incumbent will provide
labour relations direction and consultation to Managers to ensure a consistent
application of the collective agreements and to promote a productive and
cooperative environment. The incumbent will exercise the appropriate level of
initiative and independent judgment in determining work priorities, work methods to
be employed and action to be taken on unusual matters. The position functions in a
manner that is consistent with the mission, vision and values; and the policies of
South Eastman Health/Santé Sud-Est.
Qualifications:
• University Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and directly related
experience preferably in a health care environment
