| Official Job Title Laboratory Technologist I - Anatomical Pathology Department LABORATORY Addition/Job Type Regular Part Time Posting Type Internal & External Position Description HRD-111-12 LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST I ? ANATOMICAL PATHOLOGY 1 - Regular Part Time Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for performing technical procedures within the Histology laboratory including but not limited to, embedding, microtomy, routine and special staining. Candidates must be available for all shifts including weekends. Educational Requirements: -Candidates must be graduates of a recognized program for Medical Laboratory Technology -Be registered with CMLTO. Qualifications : -Successful candidates must have demonstrated understanding of quality assurance and good laboratory practice. -Effective analytical and problem solving skills, high level of initiative, organizational and interpersonal skills. -Participation in continuing education -Good understanding of microanatomy -Preference will be given to applicants with experience in Histology - Satisfactory attendance and performance record required Credit Valley Hospital is identified under the French Language Services Ac.... |
