| Location: Grafton, Ontario (near Cobourg, Clarington, Peterborough, Belleville) - From April/May to September/October for 6 months, or longer, as required - One to two years' previous experience working on an organic farm is required for a Senior Level position. - No experience is required for Junior Interns, just enthusiasm, a passion to learn, and a love of food, the outdoors and our environment. - The positions will vary slightly depending on experience and direction necessary. - In exchange for labour you will also receive room and board, education and mentoring, a monthly stipend and the chance to further your small farm knowledge. We are looking for 4 passionate apprentices/interns for the 2012 season. Senior interns should have a goal of owning his or her own farm in the near future or becoming the Farm Manager at Wicklow Way. We are looking for interns who are serious about small-scale farming and/or who are on their way to becoming farmers themselves. The senior intern(s) will start in early March and the others will join us the first of April or May. Start and end dates may vary depending on the interns personal schedule.
