| Junior Estimator
We are currently looking for a Junior Estimator in Calgary.
Qualifications & Responsibilities
• Detailed materials takeoffs, material quotations, cost analysis and materials procurement.
• Working with the Superintendent to establish project objectives, schedules, and performance requirements.
• Providing technical and administrative assistance to projects.
• Liaising between consultant/owner, and proactively resolving key issues to maintain schedule.
• Overseeing all aspects of construction projects from tender stage through to project completion.
Preference will be given to candidates with the following skills, qualifications and personal attributes:
• Civil Engineering Technology Diploma from a Technical Institution.
• Proficient in the use of estimating software (Hard Dollar, Bid to Win, Explorer, Primavera).
• Ability to complete quantity surveys from documents, project specifications and blueprint reading.
• Effective time management skills and ability to work towards tight deadlines.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills required.
