| Junior Commercial Credit Specialist Location: St.Catharines - Head Office Job Code: 422 # of openings: 1 Description Purpose of the Job: Assist in the administration of the Commercial Loan portfolio within the framework of the approved credit management policies as set by the Board, to ensure the loan assets represent acceptable risk and return to the Credit Union. Key Responsibilities: Conduct underwriting / adjudication on commercial credit applications in excess of lenders discretionary limits, either within their own limits or by referral to the Senior Commercial Credit Specialist and/or Senior Manager Exercise sound and consistent underwriting practices. Provide consistent, timely and focused value added service to the Delivery Units. Assist the Senior Manager on overall management and control of delinquency Assist the Senior Manager with respect to overall regulatory compliance by having responsibility for completion of monthly reporting as required under Board Credit Management policy. Problem Solving Apply sound credit adjudication based on knowledge and technical acumen, to reach resolution on differences in opinion, approach, policy interpretation with lenders and Credit .... |
