| Junior Civil/Structural Designer Job Type Full-time Open Date 16 January 2012 Advertising Category Engineering/Design & Sciences Education Location CA - ON - Sarnia Sarnia, ON, CA N7S 6L2 Job Description Junior Civil/Structural Designer Responsibilities: Work as part of a team of Civil/ Structural designers from FEED through scoping and detailed engineering to construction; Design/draft the structural steel and concrete layouts, quality of engineering documentation, and installation, conduct analysis needed; Liaise with clients, vendors, engineers, and other disciplines; Keep to agreed schedules and budgets for all deliverables; Requirements: 2-7 years experience in equipment layouts design for chemical or petrochemical industries; Working knowledge of codes, standards, regulations and practices; Excellent organizational, communication, time management, and problem solving skills; Computer skills: AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, familiar with RISA or STAAD Pro. Reporting and Location Reporting to the Manager, Civil/Structural Engineering. Position is located in Sarnia, Ontario.
