| Junior Accountant Job code: 454 Job Category: Accounting & Finance City: Burnaby Job Description: Position Overview My client in the technology industry is seeking an energetic, hands-on self-starter that is results oriented to join their Finance Team in the fast paced challenging role of Junior Accountant. This hands-on position willing to learn new concepts and be responsible for various aspects of the monthly accounting cycle - monthly reconciliation's, payroll (ADP), compliance, entity financial and management reports, tax and other government compliance, and continuous improvement of the company's financial reporting systems and processes. This position will also take responsibility for the accounts payable. Position Responsibilities Accounting, monthly financial reports and balance reconciliations Prepare journal entries for both day-to-day and certain month-end transactions Prepare/Assist with inter-company reconciliations and revenue recognition analysis, where applicable Assist with the preparation of monthly non-consolidated lead sheets, working papers, and financial reports Maintain and reconcile sub-ledgers to G/L Prepare invoices on a timely basis upon notification of .... |
