| Jr Purchaser/Warehouse Technician Brooks The Jr. Purchasing/Warehousing position is a multi-functional role responsible for, but not limited to, the Procurement and Warehousing that supports the Brooks district business requirements. Key Activities and Responsibilities: Purchasing (70% of Role) Adhere to Purchasing guidelines as set out by the PIMS (Purchasing, Inventory and Maintenance Scheduling) group and participate in a continuous improvement culture Assist in the purchase of rotating equipment, valves, actuators, pumps, motors and other components related to pipeline operations Support the repairable spares process through the receipt verification of equipment information, cost average calculations and work order status in relation to the repairable spares Consolidate purchase orders, packing slips, material receiving reports and invoices into invoice packages, following the accounts payable guidelines Initiate Item Master requests while helping identify new items, the verification of the items to the nomenclature and tracking the new items from start to finish while communicating the status to the end users Provide Purchasing and Warehouse coverage for all districts when nee.... |
