This 6 month contract is a valuable learning opportunity and has the potential to become a permanent position with an excellent employer. This is a role that entails all activities involved in the operation, maintenance, and security of the building. Reporting to the Manager of Operations, the Junior Operator assists the Building Operator in performing preventative maintenance and repairs throughout the building and property to ensure that standards, aesthetics, efficiency, and safety are maintained. The chosen candidate must be fluent in English, have strong interpersonal skills, and have a positive attitude. A basic knowledge and interest in building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems is required. Experience in facilities management or building operations is also required.
