JOB PROFILE
Position Title:
JAVA DEVELOPER
Reports to: SENIOR MANAGER, APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT
Department: OPERATIONS, SECURITY, TECHNOLOGY & FRAUD
Role Mandate
The role is responsible for prototyping, designing, coding, and unit testing Java EE applications. As well
as creating and maintaining development design documentation. The role requires a solid knowledge of
the Java EE application framework and familiarity using a Agile development methodology
Key Accountabilities
• Responsible for developing and maintaining Java EE web based applications including, analysis,
design, development, support and implementation
• The ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
• Responsible for creating system design and application maintenance documents
• Develop code analysis tools and utilities as needed.
• Work with software testing teams and assist them in maintaining a robust test environment
• Participate in system and application architecture and technical process / procedure reviews
