| JOB DESCRIPTION WRITER/RESEARCHER II Temporary Full-time (for approximately 16 months) LOCATION: 150 Frederick St, Kitchener ON Writes and revises job descriptions, analyzes jobs, and guides clients through the job description writing process; supports Compensation staff by conducting research, participating in surveys, creating postings, and providing administrative support related to job descriptions, job evaluation, and reorganizations. Writes new job descriptions and revises existing job descriptions. Edits and analyzes others? work to ensure accuracy and/or consistency in content, format, grammar, sentence structure, style, language, and elimination of overlap, as well as to ensure job descriptions are up-to-date and aligned with standards, policy, job evaluation plans, and collective agreements. Analyzes jobs through identifying anomalous, unclear, and missing information in draft job descriptions and interviewing clients, observing work in-the-field, and collecting information through indirect sources. Guides and acts as a resource to all levels of staff regarding job description writing and job evaluation processes, policies, and procedures. Conducts and responds to compens.... |
