| J/Field Mechanic # of Posted Positions 16 Employment Status Permanent Full Time City Ekati - Facility E05 Province/Territory NWT Job Description The successful candidates will report directly to the Service Supervisor. Each individual will be required to troubleshoot and repair the customer ?s fleet of mining equipment on the surface and underground. This will include but not limited to Caterpillar mining fleet, Komatsu PC1800, Drill Tech and Ingersoll Rand Rotary Drills, AD45 trucks, R1700 & R2900 LHD loaders, Maclean Bolters, Tamrock Solo ?s and Jumbo ?s and Cubex Drills. The successful candidates will possess an Interprovincial Heavy Equipment Technician certification; have previous Caterpillar experience and a thorough understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems. Each candidate will have completed or be in the process of completing Finning S-level courses. The individual we seek will be a team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Mining equipment knowledge and proficiency with the MS office package will be considered assets. Note: ? This position is required to work a 2 week in/2 week out continuous shift rotation. ?
