| Inventory Planner Department: Business Development Date Posted: 1/11/2012 Position Type: Full-time Reference No.: 2012-1491 Summary This role manages the, purchase and distribution of nationally stocked sku’s in order to meet corporate supply chain performance requirements. This position is responsible for achieving target line fill, inventory turns, inventory investment levels and customer service levels. Works closely with the Business Units, Business Centres and Supply Chain Operations to support improved inventory efficiencies and assist in maintaining an optimal inventory investment. Responsibilities: Manage demand with supply through Demand Solutions replenishment module (DSRP) ensuring optimal source, availability and cost (substitutions, specials) from vendors. Vendor management and back order management to ensure on time delivery and to maximize customer line fill. Maintaining and reviewing stocking strategies and sku parameters. Create, launch and manage vendor purchase orders through to receipt in distribution centers and availability in HFA. Order promotional product throughout promotional period.
