| THE PURPOSE OF THIS POSTING IS TO EXTEND AN EXISTING TERM POSITION. THERE IS A STRONG INTERNAL CANDIDATE. JOB TITLE: Internal Auditor DEPARTMENT: Audit Services STATUS: 1.0 FTE; Term 15 months, ending April 30, 2013 COMPETITION NO: 12031-E SALARY INFORMATION: The salary range is $46,136 to $72,925 per annum (Specialist/Professional, Phase 1). The starting salary will be commensurate with education and experience. PRIMARY PURPOSE: An internal auditor is required to assist in the validation and documentation of the control procedures that management of the University of Saskatchewan has implemented to reduce the risk of fraud. The documentation of control procedures will include financial process reviews to ensure processes in place are appropriate and in compliance with institution’s policies and procedures. NATURE OF WORK: Reporting to the Associate University Auditor, the internal auditor will document university processes and identify the related risks and controls that are in place. The internal auditor will be required to validate the design effectiveness of the mitigating controls identified by performing a walkthrough of each control and reviewing the related process do.... |
