| Title Internal Auditor Job ID 1119 Responsibilities Our client, a well established manufacturing company has an immediate opening for an Internal Auditor. Reporting to the Director of Internal Audit, this position will assist in financial operations, special projects, and look into contracts and programs. Responsibilities include performing operational, financial and information system audits, reviewing the efficiency of operations and compliance with company policy and procedures, including supporting the external auditors. The resulting implementation of any necessary process change is a collaborative effort working closely with the process owners to ensure a positive outcome. Requirements The ideal candidate holds a professional accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA) with 3 years minimum audit experience, having worked both independently and as part of a team, and with a thorough knowledge of GAAP. An understanding of, and experience with, integrated financial reporting systems (IFRS) would be considered a definite asset.
