| Internal Audit Manager Location: CA - ON Job Code: 163 # of openings: 1 Description The opportunity: Our client, is recognized as southern Ontario's largest road, sewer and watermain contractors. They are seeking an Internal Auditor to join their finance team in Toronto. They offer a competitive compensation package, and a great work environment. The Role: Performing operational, system and process audits of the company’s business processes and outsourced operations. Utilize audit objectives and procedures to review and assess the adequacy and application of internal controls/processes through corporate operations Requires a broad audit experience, strong knowledge of audit techniques and the ability to interact with management at all levels. Be computer proficient (IT guru) and have experience in the preparation and analysis of audit data through computer aided audit tools (spreadsheets, database) Maintain a current knowledge base of audit industry/company practices The Ideal Candidate: CA or CGA with strong excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup etc.) Smart, curious, assertive /confident A degree in business, or accountancy preferred.
