| Job Title Intermediate Accountant Location Toronto Regions Toronto, ON Description The People Bank Toronto is recruiting for an Intermediate Accountant for a 6 month assignment starting immediately for our client in the downtown Toronto core. Will be responsible for preparing financial information and reports and utilizing previous experience to compile and analyze and reconcile financial accounts and resolve discrepancies. Previous experience in the reinsurance field or insurance field preferred. Enrollment in CMA or CGA is an asset. Must have strong Microsoft office skills especially in Excel and comfortable with Lotus Notes. and strong oral and written communicatiion skills. Ability to recognice problems and develop solutions. Working knowledge of insurance accounting, including premiums, claims, reinsurance and loss accounting required.
