| Intermediate Accountant Job Apply now » Date: Jan 18, 2012 Location: City of Toronto, Ontario, Canada Job purpose Intermediate Finance professionals within the reinsurance group are responsible for preparing financial information and reports in a timely and accurate manner. As the successful incumbent, you will use your previous experience in accounting to compile, analyze and reconcile financial accounts and records, while resolving discrepancies with internal client groups and improving internal processes as needed. Responsibilities ? Utilize internal accounting systems, and prepare financial information and reports (i.e. monthly, quarterly, yearly and/or ad-hoc) for the department, management and/or regulatory authorities. ? Compile, analyze, and reconcile financial accounts and records, and identify and resolve discrepancies or problems and/or recommend solutions. ? Ensure all accounting entries are entered accurately and in a timely manner. ? Maintain and recommend improvements to reporting and internal control procedures. ?
