The Intermediate Accountant will report to the Corporate Controller and be responsible for the following: - Period end journal entries and reconciliations - Perform full cycle accounts payable - Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement variance analysis - Assistance in the generation of accounting reconciliations and working papers to support the budgeting and financial reporting process - Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements Job Description: The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications: - Minimum 3 years of accounting experience - Experience in a publicly reported company environment - Experience in the mining industry would be considered an asset - Strong accounting systems and Excel experience - Detail oriented, not afraid to roll-up sleeves and do what is required - Excellent communication .... |
